For todays eye look i am using my twilight products. Lets get started.                                          Above the palette is volturi forshadow eyelid primer, The palette is luna twilight alice color palette ( see below for a look inside),next to the palette is the volturi crown  royal blue mascara, Next to it is the  physician's formula shimmer strips eyeliner in blue, and on the end ( yes i went backwards) is the clinique bottom lash mascara                                          For the eyelook, i use the silver on the lid and the blue in the crease  I hope you have enjoyed this look. peace and beauty laurie ann

Its time for another nail polish lottery club. I have to say that im really excited to be a part of this awesome club,, This weeks number was 79 My polish for 79 is Kleancolor in black out                                            Kleancolor in black out. I wanted this black with different colored glitter to really stand out. I applied a white polish on first then applied two coats of the black out.                                          For a top coat i used out the door. This would be great for new years eve or a night out at the clubs. For todays look im using the Balm Jovi Rockstar Palette from  the Balm                                          These are all the products that i am going to be using I start with an eye primer ---- NYX eyeshadow base Then i use an eyeliner and line the top lash line and the smudge it a bit -----MAC Graphblack eyeliner Then for the palette. I thought that i would share some aromatherapy tips with you. Bounce -- Place  a Bounce dryer sheet in the sun visor of your car or under the seat, in a wastebasket, in a drawer or behind books on a shelf. Ivory Soap--- Unwrap a bar of Ivory Soap and place it on a desk,,table or countertop to freshen the air with the calming nostalgic scent of coconut oil,, palm oil and a light fragrance, Johnson's Baby Oil--- For an aromatic bath , Mix one- quarter cup Johnsons baby oil with a few drops of your favorite perfume or cologne and  pour the mixture into your bathwater. McCormick Pure Lemon Extract--- Adding a few drops of mccormick pure lemon extract to your bathwater will help clarify your emotions, refresh your spirits and invigorate your soul. I have join a new club. This is the Nail polish lottery club. I have 243 nail polishes,., I  know that is a lot but with this club I will be able to show the biggest part of them and hopefully get my collection down to a smaller number. This week the number that was picked was 187 My polish for this week is Marine scene from Sally Hansen I love this color. I makes me think of an ocean in the summer time. Here is the January ipsy bag that i received:                                         Always get excited when i open the mail box and see this pink bag                                         The card inclosed.. A true star will always shine.                                              Crease brush from london SoHo. I have another brush from this company. I do love it. I havent had any issues with it shedding at all.                                          The bag for this month. I think its a good idea to have bags every month, but honestly i have so many at this point that i really dont need another one. I will probably donate this bag.                                       Pacifica Tuscan blood orange body butter. This has a citrus scent. This is all of the makeup that i am using for today.                                            I started out using this eos lip balm and applied Mirabella prime for face and eyes, to both my face and my eyes.                                           I then applied the in depth coverage liquid foundation in medium.                                        Then i used the third diminsion powder foundation in medium ( left) over the top. Then i use the nyx waterproof concealer in yellow (middle) and top with concealer in light (right)                                              Top the concealers with the Ben Nye banana luxury powder                                          Next is the eyes. Start with eyeillusion eye shadow duo in venus (left). I used the lighter shade on the lid and the darker color on the outer corner of the lid and blended it up into the crease.  Maybelline has came out with a new line of cleaning products. I Tried it out last night. Let take a look.                                          Clean Express waterproof Eye  makeup remover                                          I applied it to a cotton round and used it to take my eye makeup off.                                          As you can see , it removed all of the makeup that i had on even the mascara. The makeup came off pretty easy as well. ( my eyes tend to get a little red when i take off my eyemake) It claims to be oil- free and not to leave a greasy residue, Another thing is its suppose to be quick dissolving with harsh rubbing. It is also safe for contact wearers and sensitive eyes It did remove my eye makeup very quickly and  the first time. I wore a lash tint on my top lashes and usually have to go over it several time to remove it all off and i didnt have that with this. I did however feel that it had a bit of an greasy feel after i u

A perfect way to end a busy day is with a relaxing bath. Try this idea that i got from Joey Green's Supermarket Spa. ----For a milk bath ( think of cleopatra), Add one handful of Carnation Nonfat Dry Milk powder to warm running bathwater. The lactic acid in the milk softens the skin, and the proteins leave the skin feeling silky smooth and rejuvenated. ----Mix one-half cup Carnation Nonfat Dry Milk, One-quarter cup Kingsford's Corn Starch, and one teaspoon McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract. Pour the mixture into running bathwater and soak for twenty minutes to soften skin and enjoy the soothing aroma of vanilla.
